The flower of life emerges from the seed of life. The seed of life is used to explain the days of creation in the book of Genesis in the Bible. Basicly six different universes (or branes as the string theorists call them) touch one another and the universe we are in emerges as a result. Acording to the Science Channel the universe could have began when two (or maybe more?) different branes touched or something like that.
